Trail Tech Self-Contained TRUE HID lighting!
No separate ballast to mount, it is built into the light housing!!!
Most Trail Tech lights can be installed easily on Trail Tech handlebar mounted light kits and dashboards with included pivot mount. Trail Tech lights feature vibration isolated housing: rubber mounts within the housing dampen vibration caused by the motor. It is important for the light quality and the lamp's lifespan. Additional anti-vibration mounting posts are available to double-isolate the lamps for extreme riding.

The Trail Tech 4 inch HID light is an excellent light. The 28° 'driving' beam
pattern is bright and even. Available in 30 or 40 watt options. The SC4 weighs
only 510g but puts out some of the best light available today. The Trail Tech
SC4" HID lights can be installed easily into any 3/8" hole with included pivot
mount.
