I just finished a very thorough spring cleaning on this motorhome.  Literally from vacuuming the ceiling down to shampooing the carpets.

It is ready for anyone to simply pack their things on board and hit the open road!  You will not be disappointed when you see what this unit looks like inside.

I have also personally done all maintenance on this RV since I took ownership in 2001.  At that point it only had 13,500 miles. The rubber roof has been cleaned/inspected/treated annually since I have owned it, and is in very good condition.

The underbody & suspension has been regreased at least annually as well.  The engine has been given Mobil-1 full synthetic oil the entire time I have owned it, with a new filter at every change.

I would not hesitate to get in this RV and drive it up to Alaska (again...)

In fact, if it doesn't sell by the 4th of July, I will be taking it to Denver and then on to Casper & Gillette Wyoming...

Traveling in a motorhome can still be a cost-effective form of vacationing/travel!

Let's compare...

You can choose to fly out, drive your car, or take an RV.

  • For a Flying vacation:

    • Separate plane ticket for each family member

    • Will probably need to rent a car at your destination to get around to the sights you will want to see

    • Will need to stay in hotels every night of your trip

    • Will need to eat out for all of your meals

  • If you drive in your own car/SUV on your vacation:

    • Will need to buy fuel for your vehicle

    • You will can either tent camp, or stay in hotels along the way and when you get there

    • With a cooler along you may be able to have some of your meals out of the cooler to save money

  • If you take your vacation in your motorhome RV:

    • You will of course pay more for fuel cost than driving a car, however...

    • You can actually drive farther in a day than in a car due to fewer stops because of longer fuel range, built-in bathroom, your own kitchen to eat out of, and more room for everyone to move around and be comfortable.  (Also not having to set up/take down camp every day if you camp out of your car)

    • You can save money on the way out/back by staying overnight in rest areas & WalMart parking lots (WalMart/Sam's Club welcome RV'ers to stay in their parking lots, and even offer a special edition Rand-McNally road atlas with all stores listed in a special section listing specific RV services available at each.)

    • You can save money by eating many of your meals out of the REAL refrigerator/freezer in the RV.  Cooking with the stove/oven or Microwave, etc...  And if you have leftovers from your restaurant meal, they will keep in the fridge.

    • Staying at public campgrounds (local/state/federal) or even private campgrounds is less expensive than hotels, and you are in your OWN bed every night.

    • If you get tired of the road; stop and take a nap in the comfort and security of your own bed.

    • With the TOY LIFT, you can take along a more fuel efficient vehicle for touring once you get there.
